Carry-on: one small bag of up to 10 lb (4.5 kg) on both of the main domestic airlines, SANSA and Green Airways.
Checked bag: depends on the fare. Green Airways includes one bag of up to 30 lb (14 kg) on every fare, and more on its upgraded fares. On SANSA the checked allowance depends on the fare class, and it is printed on your ticket. We will tell you exactly what your fare includes.
Extra weight can usually travel for a fee, but the airline may send it on a later flight if the plane is full, and you would then collect it at the airport. A soft duffel packed light avoids all of that.
