How much spending money should I bring?
Your hotels, transfers and tours are already paid. What you will still spend on while you are here, and how to eat well for less.
Less than you might think, because the big things are already paid: your hotels, your transfers and the tours in your itinerary.
What you will still be paying for while you are here:
- Most meals, unless your hotel includes them.
- Drinks and snacks.
- Tips for guides, drivers and hotel staff (see How much should I tip?).
- Anything you add on the ground, like an extra tour, a spa treatment or a surf lesson.
- Souvenirs. Coffee, chocolate and local crafts are the favorites.
