What happens after I book?
What we'll ask you for once your deposit is in, and why each piece helps.
Once your deposit is in, you'll hear from us twice. First your Costa Rica Specialist confirms the deposit. Then, usually a few days later, your Client Services Representative from our concierge team introduces themselves with the confirmation numbers for all your hotels (see When will I get my final itinerary?).
Along the way we'll ask for a few things:
- Your Client Agreement, signed electronically. It sets out our payment and cancellation policies in full (see How and when do I pay for my trip?).
- Our questionnaire: who is traveling, how you'd like the rooms set up, any celebrations, dietary needs, allergies or mobility needs, and an emergency contact (see Traveling with children, grandparents or special needs). There's no rush, and we only ask for what we don't already have.
- Your international flights, once you've booked them. They tell us when to have your driver waiting at the airport.
- Each traveler's passport number, which we need for things like Manuel Antonio park tickets. We'll tell you the safest way to send it.
The more we know, the more we can do. A birthday on the questionnaire, for example, is how a cake turns up on the right evening.
